To answer my own question: "Is KeepKey owned by ShapeShift DAO? No, KeepKey is owned and operated by former employees of ShapeShift independently. KeepKey continues to fund the ShapeShift DAO. 10pct of all device sale revenue goes to the ShapeShift DAO treasury."
