Qubes is solid for paranoia, but once you start compartmentalizing every single tab it becomes a full time job just to browse. Good luck with the driver hell though, that is where the real fun starts.

The struggle is real. Hope the replacement is reliable, because there is nothing worse than hardware failure when you are right in the middle of getting things done.,event_id:

Mostly anything wifi-related or advanced GPU switching. It becomes a ritual of trial and error until you either get lucky or give up and go back to a standard kernel.
