I live 30 minutes from the grocery store. My local-ish one is 15 minutes and doesn't have a great selection ☹️. I do however do curbside most of the time which is a close second 😂.

As someone who's been doing delivery of groceries since about 2005, almost all the delivery services suck, and it's 50/50 you get someone who knows what they're doing AND isn't rude about it.

In my early childhood, say 1956-1965, home delivery of groceries was fairly common. It was something that the smaller local food markets did. The giant supermarket chains put them out of business.
