I've never used Monero and don't know anything about it at all. It's more private somehow. I guess? Anyways, the urge to build a Nostr app with Monero via Shakespeare, just to show that it can be done...

That "somehow" is really doing a lot of heavy lifting; it's not that complicated.

Monero was designed from the beginning to make transactions private by default, Bitcoin prides itself on having a public, auditable ledger.

Monero obscures the sender, receiver and amount, Bitcoin doesn't.

Monero's tokens are fungible, meaning they can't be flagged by anyone or any agency. Bitcoins aren't.
