I added a tag of green tape on mine as a faux label (Green is my last name) but did a poor job deciding when to sew it in (decorative stitch or straight stitch) and my start and stops. I think it's just some good practice is needed. My main reason for getting my sewing machine out was to hem several pairs of pants for my wife.
