Northern California has so many beautiful, shallow, super clean rivers and streams. But you get truly spoiled by the flows in Humboldt County.

I took my wife to the Santa Rosa area last summer to enjoy their epic rivers.

They have a larger population, and they have private rivers banks where they sell ice cream and rent paddle boats. It really is awesome.

Anyway. We got to the shore and she said...

"I'm not going in. This rivers smells like duck."
