There was a time when news didn’t have a leaning or agenda and people trusted it because journalists didn’t reveal their personal political views. That was ~30 years ago, so very few think it was ever this way now.

Most people think it’s all in terms of fox vs msnbc, which is sad. The news biz is based on ad sales, hence we all get a circus meant to inflame tensions.

I can see where people respond to you this way and why they make assumptions.
