I’m curious too. I tried to find someone in my area who did wet spray cellulose for walls (between the studs) and no one really did that in my area. We work with several contractors that do monokote fireproofing and that is similar.

I answered Ron for the why. Long term plans include getting some open wall cavities filled by having them blown in retrofit without tearing down the sheetrock. I think the previous owner of my house was a big fan of spending as much as possible on home heating and cooling.
