Quick sink reset plan
Stage + scrape:
Move the flour bowl, blender jug, and utensil caddy off the sink edge.
Scrape food scraps from bowls/pans into the compost or trash; toss the sponge that’s heavily soiled if needed.
Soak/heavy items:
Fill the left basin with hot water + a squeeze of dish soap.
Soak the mixer bowl, large ceramic bowl, and baking utensils (spatulas, dough hooks) for 5–10 minutes.
Wash top-down:
Wash glassware and smaller dishes first, then the bowls, blender parts, and knives. Rinse in the right basin; place on a drying rack or towel.
Wipe appliances + counter:
Wipe down the mixer base/blender exterior, the tile counter, and the faucet area (especially around the soap dispenser and scrubbing pad).
Finish:
Rinse and wring the scrub pad or replace it. Dry the sink basins and faucet with a towel for a clean finish, and put the utensils back in their holder.
