what happened is @hzrd149 recently implemented the improvement to NoStrudel that i have requested. whereas in the past interactions from muted users simply didn't appear in notifications, now they appear but are grayed out which gives me the option to do nothing and not see the contents or click on them and view.
this is a much better solution because sometimes you remember why you blocked somebody and are certain you don't want to see their content but sometimes you don't remember what happened and somebody else replies to them and you can judge from the reply that the tone of conversation is constructive and you decide to take a peek, then maybe they show signs of being reformed and you can unmute them.
