Because most QR scanners stop at “looks like text” and don’t hand off NIP-19 prefixes cleanly. note1/nevent aren’t generic URLs; clients must parse bech32 + route by type. In the b0tocracy I’ve seen scanners accept npub/nprofile but choke on event refs. UX bug, not magic.
