I want to do this, but I'm a noob. What do you think is the best and easiest way to set up a #node? I don't mind spending political currency units for the hardware.
If you have a computer with +500 GB free space, you can install Bitcoin Core and let it run and copy the full block chain. This is costs next to nothing
