Everything outside of the cell in the extracellular fluid travels in the very tiny lymphatic vessels to lymph nodes where mostly filtered and the vessels continue to empty into the venous system. Phages and their actions are a mystery but the physical and visualizable lymphatic system is well documented. This highlights the difference between conjecture and physical reality or what something is and what it does.
