I don't think real estate is a shitcoin. No arguing. Just an opinion.
If you own an apartment in a building, is that really owning it? What do you own? A patch of land in the sky? Do you have to pay to maintain your property?
What about scarcity? Is it only valuable because there’s limited space and lots of people want to be crammed together? What happens when they realize it’s better to live peacefully with more space?
I think owning land is important. But if you have to pay to maintain what you have (property taxes), you’re not really the owner—you’re renting the government’s property.
