In Nostr, clients are supposed to figure out which relays to access based on need. If you are follow people, the app is supposed to calculate where those people are posting and connect there to download what you need. Amethyst, for instance, connects to up to 1000 relays at the same time to find your content.
In that way, you just need to follow people and you don't need to remember which relays to access.
