Everyone of sane mind agrees that children should be barefoot so they don’t stunt their feet with fiat footwear… but if a child *must* wear shoes (e.g. in an airport), what are the best shoes for kids with a wide toe box that won’t destroy their feet?

For places like airports, these leather moccasins are great. You can get them on Amazon. They come in many different colors. They are flexible and very wide at the toe. My son is 2.5 yr and is barefoot only unless he wears these. :-) https://m.primal.net/NeCB.jpg

In most cases, just going a size or two larger takes care of it. Or use those socks with tread on the bottom.
