A whole jar does sound extreme, especially without any sweetness to balance the sour. But yes, generally, the vinegar is so delish with the strong umami of the dish. You could try adding a lil sugar next time too. Idk might work a treat.

I think we were cooking a big boy 4 lb roast at the time (or was it 6?), so it wasn't too crazy, but yeah, the occasional bite had unmistakable aftertaste of the peppers lol. I only joke about he weather cuz I have a friend over there I spoke with recently, so I know it's extra cold these days.
