zaps are not designed with conversations in mind, they are modeled like a reaction. perhaps you should use a different kind, or just kind 1111 with a reference to the zap. not sure what's the best opt...

Would you do that from the root event already. Or keep zaps to the app/article/... as normal zaps with comments that you then fetch comments on from there on?
I like the latter idea, I think.
