I could easily live like this. Never set your standards so high that it limits what future chapters of life must look like. #RulesForReset https://blossom.primal.net/7e89ace2b369bf327a058a21f235...

After living off grid in a cabin for several years without electricity the most important elements were fresh clean gravity fed spring water and propane.

A separate shower house with an on demand hot water heater offered the best shower under the trees and a place to do laundry. Hot water is a must for cleanliness and removing fats from dishwear.

Propane also provided refridgeration which during the summer was key.

Fire and candle light in the darker months but following the sun.

An outhouse with conpost toilet covered the basics.

The lifestyle was incredible. Outside at dawn. Cutting wood. Cooking with fire. Intentionally building your day in nature in the sun. Didn't hurt to have a stone eood fired sauna and a cold pond to jump in.

It is my preference. I have a beautiful home. With all the comforts. But I will sell it and move deeper into the woods and my wife will love it even more.
