I reconfirmed this morning that I enjoy shooting firearms exponentially more than I enjoy cleaning firearms.

I clean mine roughly every 750-1k rounds for pistols, 2k for ar15's, and 100 for rifles. Never once had an issue on the modern guns. Older ones though can need more lube/oil, not necessarily cleaning.
