One day you just wake up kinda tired and that’s just how things are from now on.
I was feeling that, hardcore, only six weeks ago, and said enough is enough. I had to accept that if I wanted to turn the tide I had to start accepting not getting home from work till 7:30 at least four nights a week. 10 laps on the track listening to pods, stretch, 30 minutes on the stair climber or assault bike, 20 mins of resistance. Shower, shave, home, bed. It feels normal again and suddenly everything feels better. I can’t believe I let this current job knock me off this routine 5 years ago. Working OT for bonuses that never seemed to materialize as promised. It sucked at first coming back, but I feel a lot better now all day, and sleep like a baby.
