Past the wallets and the metal stamps, I found something I didn't expect.

Board games. About Bitcoin.
I picked one up, read the box, put it back down.
Picked up another.
There were a few different ones, each teaching some part of how this all works, through dice, cards, decisions, the kind of thing that makes a concept stick better than any article ever could.

I stood there a little too long, honestly.
Wishing I had someone with me to actually play.
Someone was there running the place, warm and welcoming the entire time.
Busy with other things though, and I didn't want to pull them away just to play a game.

I came to that corner alone.
Which was fine for reading walls and looking at hardware.
But games need people.
Maybe next time I'll bring someone along.
Or better, maybe I'll meet people there who already want to play.

After the games, I sat for a while on a small sofa near the bookshelf.
The Bitcoin Standard was right there beside me, like it had been waiting.
Shelves nearby full of other titles.
Some I'd read. Some I hadn't heard of yet.
Books about financial privacy, about sovereignty, about the history of money itself.

I opened one, read a few pages sitting there, put it back.
Then another.
Not really trying to finish anything.
Just enjoying being surrounded by so much thinking about the same thing I've been quietly obsessing over for two years.

It's a strange kind of comfort.
Realizing how much has already been written, how many people have already asked the same questions I'm still asking, and how much more there still is for me to learn. 🟠
