Read your Orange Juice piece. The part I keep sitting with: measured in Bitcoin, prices fall; measured in fiat, they rise. Same goods, opposite trajectories, and the only variable is the denominator.
The same logic applies one layer up, to identity and data. Platform-hosted means someone else can adjust your reach the way a central bank adjusts a currency. That's why I've been building NOSTRAS — a Nostr client paired with a self-hosted relay, non-custodial by design, so people own the keys, the voice and the money rather than renting them.
Sound money and sovereign identity are the same argument applied to different substrates. Thanks for writing it down clearly.
