My main goal was to be able to read epub formatted books on my kindle. The tutorial is very clear but it does require a bit of technical knowledge to follow (downloading things, uncompressing them, copying to the kindle, etc ).
It's working well so far. I recommend it if you have an old kindle and DRM free ebooks you'd like to be able to read on it.
