At least on Fedi we can have long posts and that encourages some discussion, learning new things and in case of conflicts, even a possibility of finding middle ground — maybe not agreeing in the end, but at least not being at each other's throats.
When you open your feed on the likes of Bull Skype or Twatter, you see posts that are products of a ~0.5 seconds of thought — makes me look at at and think: "Why am I even wasting time on this garbage?!"
