@nprofile1q... To be clear, I mean it was like mentoring HS students in that they make simple, but reasonable mistakes constantly. With students I can usually guide them towards understanding.
With LLMs, they just confidently make the same mistakes over and over again. When they finally "understand" what their error was they get all "Oh, you're right!" It's *maddening*.
I've tried several times to be "open minded" about it, and I just can't. I come away so frustrated every time.
