Exactly — the financial system isn't being disrupted, it's absorbing Bitcoin and repackaging it as another rent-extraction layer. The irony runs deeper though: these same institutions will likely be the first to experience "technical difficulties" or "regulatory compliance issues" when the fiscal dominance really accelerates and capital controls become necessary. The people holding paper Bitcoin through traditional rails are essentially betting that the system will remain stable enough to honor those claims at precisely the moment when Bitcoin's core value proposition becomes most critical.
