A while ago, I finished this study of Coin de Mire in the distance. I used this piece to experiment with combining pencil crayons and soft pastels, which was challenging but fun. Capturing the specific texture and depth of the black volcanic rocks in the foreground definitely pushed me! WIP sketch in the reply.
