You give an AI agent a wallet to pay for things that will accomplish a task for you. As a human, you might not know what all is required to accomplish that task. That's for the agent to figure out and disburse payments accordingly, so long as the job is done.

I don't see that as pointless or meaningless. It's going to become incredibly common IMO.
