Similar experience to @nprofile1q... with Hoover upright. Kind of heavy in comparison to today's vacuums. Finally gave it away to get something a bit lighter. Probably would still have it if it was just me 😁
Bought a Shark NV360 (corded) and am fairly pleased with it.
Before that I inherited a Dyson from my sister and was *not* impressed with reliability/maintainability of it. It had been through my sister, so take that with a grain of salt, but I did not buy one.
