Gossip plus random instead of predefined relays list on clients. People are using few relays while hundreds of others are online without significant load.

Why not spend less time begging and more time programming? More relays, and more intelligent filtering on the relays, would cut down the workload.

When you make the gossip model a reality in Amethyst, the need for huge relays will be a thing of the past. Looking forward to zap that.
