This is seriously awful and i really wonder what has to happen to turn the entire community over and shake the cobwebs out. Is it even possible for non-brain damaged people to care about foss?

@Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 maybe if foss was actually stably usable, intuitive in operation, intuitive in installation and troubleshooting, then non brain damaged people would care about foss because if it does everything proprietary software can, but for free, then there's zero reason for them to not use it
