I love cigars, but have never tried pipes. do you have any suggestions for a beginner ?

Get yourself a Missouri Meerschaum corncob pipe. They're cheap and they smoke well. If you decide you like pipe smoking, you can upgrade to anice brier pipe later.

For your first blend, I usually suggest beginners avoid aromatics as they can be a bit moist and straight Virginia blends as they burn a little hot. Choose something like a mild English blend from a reputable tobacconist. That's a good, middle of the road, place to start with pipe blends.

Thanks for the tips and hints ! I'm based in Tokyo, so I will take a look around to see what is available here. In the meantime, I'll continue to grab some cigars... lol
