Kate works surprisingly well as a sublime replacement for me on Windows and Linux. the UI out of the box feels crowded but can be cleaned up. file tree, minimap, integrated terminal, symbol outline all work well. since it is based on a proper toolkit, mouse support is quite good, drag-dropping selections, right click and jump etc. all work.
