Most blossom servers I've seen so far are focused on being public. Haven had the only personal one I've seen.
I've had "personal blossom backup server" on my to-do list since I wrote the spec but haven't had the motivation to build it. The idea would be something like a personal FTP box that exposes a file system, downloads blobs from your public servers, and then serves all the blobs using their hash
