yt-dlp normally selects format 251 for bestaudio but format 234 sounds marginally better (still not Mitophile‐approved by any means, of course). I guess that since videos typically have aac audio there is no need to reencode for format 234 if the data rate is within specification. Thank you for reading my blog post.
