This is why I can’t call myself a Christian. I love God, I love Jesus. I love my family and I love nature and creation. I also love other people. The idea that in this big beautiful diverse world with a billion paths to walk, that God would limit us to one and divide us among those who follow it and those who wander or tread other well worn paths is antithetical to everything else I see in creation. A beaver builds damns. A bird builds nests. Both bring glory to God. Stop telling people there is only one path to eternal life and that you found it before them and they’re damned if they don’t follow you. Instead try judging people by the value of their character and accepting the beauty in different points of view and realize God also loves diversity. If he didn’t he wouldn’t have created it.
