The guy I've been training as my replacement at work broke his arm today. He was working on a car, jackstand collapsed and tire came down on his forearm.
He called me, not to tell me he won't be in, but to warn me he won't be in so if they call me to come in for him I know not to answer the phone. THAT is a friend.
