But for me me it's not really about getting "dark"
IRL I assume a lot of control & responsibly. So to fantasize about being in a position where I have no control is true escapism I suppose.
And a lot of times I assume a lot of folks probably won't like it. Which is okay because it's mainly for me personally.
I still dig the cute stuff & try to keep it balanced though
