China Just Responded to the Pipeline.
Yesterday we said China has a problem with Netanyahu's vision.
Today they proved it.
China and Pakistan just dropped a 5-point peace plan for the Gulf crisis.
Read it carefully. Every point is a surgical strike on the pipeline proposal.
Point 2: "Safeguard sovereignty of Iran and Gulf states."
No regime change. Iran stays. Hormuz stays contested. The entire justification for the bypass route disappears.
Point 4: "Restore normal passage through the Strait of Hormuz."
That's not humanitarian language. That's Beijing protecting 1.6 million barrels of Saudi oil a day. Their oil. Their supply line. Their economy.
Point 3: Protect nuclear sites under international law.
That's a direct block on the stated war objective.
The pipeline requires Iran defeated, Hormuz irrelevant, and Gulf states realigned toward Washington and Tel Aviv.
China just said no to all three.
Because the Saudis are now reading two offers at once.
Washington: take the pipeline, take our military cover, price your oil through our corridor.
Beijing: stay sovereign, keep Hormuz open, keep selling us oil.
One offer requires Riyadh to walk away from its biggest customer.
The other doesn't require Riyadh to betray anyone.
The pipe isn't just infrastructure. It's a loyalty test.
And China just made it very expensive to pass.
