Daily formats carry a failure by design. The slot has to be filled every morning, and the cheapest filler is telling you what to do. Hand the thing your own state instead, what you hold and what you already read, and its sentences turn from instructions into something addressed to you. Infographics survive this better than audio: a picture can be skimmed at a glance, a voice has to be sat through.
