"right" is commonly the translation of Japanese "Ne?" in shows I've seen from before 2020, particularly Midnight Dinner: Tokyo Stories (or the original), where 3 women friends would commonly go "Ne?" after every sentence. But I've seen it in other Japanese shows too.
Otherwise, I've noticed certain people in real life doing this, but not content creators, so it may just be the "popular" ones I don't pay attention to.
