Love to see this. Pretty much no one should create a new account on .social. That server comprises far too much of the Mastodon account share, making Mastodon more centralized than it should be.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... I wrote about this some time ago. IIRC it's something like 75% of all Mastodon accounts are spread across a handful of servers. While far better than fully centralised services, we still have a long way to go.
Back in the day @nprofile1q... and I discussed at great length whether #Fosstodon was becoming too large and adding to the problem, so we slowed things down by closing public sign ups.
