A significant majority of introductory cryptography literature, such as Bruce Schneier's `Applied Cryptography` and `Cryptography Engineering`, or Jiewen Yao and Vincent Zimmer's `Building Secure Firmware`, emphasizes that computer systems are fundamentally designed to be predictable. Given that robust security relies entirely upon randomness and entropy, any architect of a secure system must continuously analyze and test this foundational principle to avert basic vulnerabilities. Neglecting this responsibility can be considered equivalent to professional negligence or malicious design.
