I ran secureblue for a lot of time, I wouldnt suggest it. It runs well, but you will encounter a lot of problems that will risk to ruin your experience.
Hyperthreading is disabled on pretty any machine, it will cause ~40% performance loss (depend on your hardware).
Hardened malloc will cause you other compatibility problems and performance loss.
A lot of unix-stile workflow that programs expect to find doesnt work (cause security hardening all over the place) and, especially if you are a newbie, solve them would be really hard (newbie shouldnt be concernerd about usernamespaces and virtual environments...).
Secureblue its a VERY nice distro, but I see it as an experimentation with security for the linux desktop.
If you are a newbie, come from windows/macos, dont have particular security concerns for your workflow, and just expect something that works (even better that mainstream os most of the time) I'll suggest linux mint or omarchy linux (depend on "who" you are and "what" you want).
