@nprofile1q... I once attended a lecture by esteemed neurologist, Oliver Sacks and everybody showed up expecting him to lecture on music, hallucination and the brain, as he had a new book out. Instead he gave one of the most fantastic lectures I've ever attended, on the Burgess shale and the Cambrian explosion. He'd been in town for a few days prior to the lecture date and head visited the Burke natural history museum at the UW.
