New Mossad chief Roman Gofman has reassigned two senior officials who helped develop an unsuccessful plan to topple Iran's regime.

The plan envisioned backing Kurdish forces to spark a nationwide uprising, but it was ultimately abandoned after U.S. officials deemed regime change unrealistic and other political obstacles emerged.
