A friend of a friend has 22 corn on an encrypted computer with ONE more login attempt before it wipes.
Is there any hope for him?
I’ve heard of services that collect a portion if they are success...
Greatings from #Linux !
Tell to your friend that exist a command in LINUX called dd, this command can copy the full disk device to another disk of same type duplicating all bits ! Then he can use the copy, to try to enter the forgeted password , how many times he fails, just doing :
#root>: dd if=/dev/sd[origim] of= /dev/sd[target] conv=notrunc,noerror,sync status=progress
And wait finish
for each try on duplicated disk !
After he remember the passwd please, tell us that all was all right !
The happiness to help in the last chance have no price !
I am waiting for the result !
