very good question when it comes to excessive MEP numbers that might create multiple objectives that are all with good intent, to make a better Europe and a better world.
the structural issue is, how would the EU collectively gather coherent direction while balancing the sovereign rights of its individual member states? Not exactly a walk in the park to juggle such opposing end points.
can there be some type of compromise? such as in specific areas of EU-wide defence beyond NATO, bloc-wide international economic co-operation?
