Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Settlement Minister Orit Strook called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to block the entry of the international stabilization force into the Gaza Strip.
In an urgent letter to Netanyahu, the hard-right ministers claimed that “the cabinet decision was based on false information,” and that the roadmap document published by the Board of Peace poses a danger to Israel.
Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the two ministers called for an urgent cabinet meeting and a vote on a decision to halt implementation of the provisions outlined in the document.
